We have circled the sun yet again, and its that time to start recruiting artists for our 2023 series of 1:26 The Art of Epilepsy exhibits. We are incredibly excited to announce three exhibitions this year, extending from Boston to Chicago and circling back to southern California! Thank you all for being instrumental in our ongoing success and growth.
Hidden Truths Project has worked with 500 or more artists worldwide. Our work continues to grow because of YOU and the impact your works of art have on wellbeing. Our outreach includes not just people with epilepsy, but their family members (epilepsy impacts the family), caregivers, and organizations supporting epilepsy advocacy work. Each of you is instrumental in the event’s success and our attempts to make epilepsy SPEAKABLE! For that, we can’t thank you enough!
Art truly has become the narrative, a personal story, to raise awareness, build a community of peers, and educate the public about the pervasiveness and complexity of epilepsy.
Yet, work in this arena is in its infancy, and our efforts to expand arts’ role in healing and wellbeing will remain unrelenting!
We will begin the Fall celebrations of 1:26 The Art of Epilepsy with Boston, then Chicago, and finally, our flagship event in Newport Beach – giving you time to find your creative mojo. Tentative dates include:
Boston: September 30th
Chicago: October 21st
Newport Beach: November 11th.
Linked here you will find the artist’s application. If you prefer to exhibit your art at only one site or exclusively online, please let us know on the application. Hidden Truths Project will ship your artwork to the next if the art does not sell at one exhibit.
OUR WORK IS ONLY POSSIBLE BECAUSE OF YOU! We look forward to a highly successful celebration and would love to see your smiling faces. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email us.
