Artist Statement

I am an artist focused on alcohol inks activated by moonshine, which creates an expressionistic style of work. My work is largely inspired by my life and my love of traveling.

Yep, moonshine. I paint with a 190-proof shine that comes right off the still. My family created Cedar Mountain Moonshine, and when we realized we could paint with our moonshine, “Shine Art” was born!

The following body of work is based on my son’s recent relapse with epilepsy after 4.5 years seizure-free.
